Energys completes delivery of fully integrated hydrogen refueling system for Ark Energy facility in Townsville, QLD

Energys, a world leader in the delivery of the most advanced economic and reliable hydrogen systems, is proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of a complete hydrogen refueling facility that includes compression, storage and dispensing for Arkenergy SunHQ Hydrogen Hub, a groundbreaking green hydrogen production and refueling facility in Townsville, Queensland.

The facility will decarbonise the road haulage fleet, including zero emissions Fuel Cell Electric Trucks (FCETs), operating between the Sunmetals zinc refinery and the local port, and have sufficient capacity to also supply other vehicles, marking a major step forward in the transition to clean energy transportation in Australia.

SunHQ is due to enter operations in the coming months and will be one of the largest fully integrated green hydrogen production and refueling facilities in the country, with an annual production capacity of 155 tonnes of green hydrogen.
