Big news for Victoria’s green hydrogen future

We’re proud to announce that Energys has secured planning approval for Victoria’s first commercial B2B green hydrogen production facility, located in Hastings.

This project marks a major step in Australia’s energy transition, featuring a 1 MW PEM electrolyser powered by surplus renewable grid energy to produce zero-emission hydrogen. In partnership with Coregas Pty Ltd, the hydrogen will be distributed to industrial and mobility customers across the region.

What this means:

 - Displacement of grey hydrogen in industrial applications
 - Cleaner alternatives for transport and stationary energy
 - Enhanced energy system stability through grid-responsive operation
